Introduction to Landscape Photography - 16 May 2015

A great annual event held in Laragh/Glendalough Co Wicklow - now in it's 10th year - and just €35. Booking now open - Full details via the Walker's Association of Ireland

Annual Introduction to Landscape Photography with the Walkers Association of Ireland is scheduled this year for Saturday 16th May in Glendalough. Further details will be posted closer to the event - save the date - always great value and great craic!

A great reaction and feedback to the exhibition in Baldoyle; thanks to all who visited, left comments, made contact or left very kind remarks with the library staff who passed them on. Also thanks to the library for the space and assistance.

Baldoyle Library, Strand Road, Baldoyle, Dublin. (Just 5 minutes walk along the coast from Sutton Dart Station)

Open 'til 8pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursday.

Opening Hours: Monday: 9:45am - 1:00pm and 1:45pm - 8:00pm
Tuesday and Thursday: 1:15pm - 8:00pm
Wednesday, Friday and Saturday: 9:45am - 1:00pm and 1:45pm - 5:00pm

I'll be delivering the Landscape and Travel Photography lecture for the Photography Course in the Dublin Camera Club on the 5th.

The 10 week programme is sold out, but will be available again in January 2015.

Landscape Workshop - Update. The workshop promoted below has sold out much quicker than in previous years and registration is now closed!

The Annual Landscape Workshop with the Walkers Association of Ireland is on Saturday 12th April 2014, in Laragh and Glendalough National Park, Co Wicklow.

This is the 9th year of the workshop - and every year it has been a really enjoyable and fully booked event. It is a great opportunity to learn the basics about landscape photography in a very relaxed way! We cover camera basics, tips on composition and improving your eye for a picture, getting the best from Ireland's light, - and lots more....

A Day in The Irish Landscape at the DCC on the 29th was a highly enjoyable event with three top class speakers. A sincere thanks to Simon Stewart, Norman McCloskey and Peter McCabe for their informative talks and great photography. Norman's book "Parklight" is highly recommended!

Early days yet, but there is some talk of another similar event!
